I was honored to accept this award recently from the Duval County Public Schools on behalf of the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. This award was given in appreciation for ABOTA's civics program The Teachers' Law School. Thank you to DCPS Superintendent Nikolai Vitti, Vice Chair Ashley Smith Juarez, School Board Member Scott Shine, and DCPS Social Sciences Department Coordinator Phil Little for this recognition. ABOTA has had a great partnership with DCPS through our civics education programs such as The Teachers' Law School. We look forward to many more years of successful civics programs with DCPS.
